🌟 “Hello, How Are You?” – Promoting Mental Health Awareness 🌟
Today, Donegal Women’s Centre stands with Mental Health Ireland’s national campaign, “Hello, How Are You?” — an initiative encouraging us all to genuinely check in with the people around us and listen with care.
It may seem simple, but asking “How are you?” with real meaning can make a huge difference. It’s not just about the words; it’s about taking the time to engage, listen, and support one another — especially during times of stress, loneliness, or uncertainty.
Why “Hello, How Are You?” Matters
Connect with others: Reach out to friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues.
Promote emotional wellbeing: Meaningful conversations help us feel supported.
Reduce loneliness: Let people know they are seen, heard, and valued.
Encourage early help-seeking: Open dialogue can lead to timely support for mental health challenges.
Even a small moment of genuine care can create space for empathy, understanding, and connection.
💜 At Donegal Women’s Centre, we recognise that everyone’s wellbeing matters. If you are struggling with your mental health, you are not alone. We provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space to access guidance, counselling, and care.
