Today, at Donegal Women’s Centre, we recognise and honour all those marking Cancer Survivors Day—a day that represents strength, resilience, hope, and healing.

We stand in deep admiration of every person who has faced a cancer diagnosis, those currently navigating their journey, and the families, friends, and carers who walk alongside them with unwavering support.

Survivorship means something different to everyone. It is not only about completing treatment, but about learning to live fully beyond it—emotionally, physically, and mentally. Today is a moment to acknowledge that journey, to celebrate life, and to recognise the courage it takes to keep moving forward.

We also take time to remember those we have lost, holding their loved ones in our thoughts and hearts.
