💜 Even the Most Basic Needs Matter: Period Products Needed 💜

For many of us, buying period products is a routine part of everyday life. But for women experiencing financial hardship, even the most basic essentials can become difficult to afford.

No woman should have to choose between buying period products and paying for food, heating or other necessities.

Donegal Women’s Centre is currently seeking donations of period products to help us support women in need throughout Donegal.

Period poverty can affect a woman’s dignity, confidence and ability to take part in everyday life. Having access to appropriate period products is not a luxury — it is a basic need.

💜 How You Can Help

We would be very grateful for donations of new, unopened period products, including:

• Sanitary pads
• Tampons
• Panty liners
• Different sizes and absorbencies where possible

Whether you donate one packet or fill a shopping bag, every contribution helps.

When you are doing your weekly shop, perhaps consider adding an extra packet of period products to your basket and donating it to a woman who may otherwise have to go without.
