💜 Her Health Through the Ages: Navigating Changing Hormones & Reproductive Health 🌸 Week 3: For Women in Their 30s & 40s
💜 Her Health Through the Ages: Navigating Changing Hormones & Reproductive Health
As women move through their 30s and 40s, their health needs can continue to change. Hormonal shifts, fertility concerns, ongoing reproductive health conditions and the early signs of perimenopause can all become part of the conversation.
Understanding these changes — and knowing what to look out for — can make an important difference.
For Week 3 of Her Health Through the Ages, Donegal Women’s Centre invites women in their 30s and 40s to join us for an informative and supportive evening exploring changing hormones and reproductive health.
Presented by Dr. Vanessa McBride, the session aims to give women clear, practical information that can help them better understand their bodies and feel more confident discussing and managing their health.
🌸 Week 3: For Women in Their 30s & 40s
Tuesday 1st November | 8pm–10pm
Navigating Changing Hormones & Reproductive Health
During the evening, Dr. Vanessa McBride will explore:
Endometriosis and ongoing symptoms
Infertility and fertility challenges
Perimenopause: recognising the signs
Understanding hormonal changes
For some women, their 30s and 40s can bring new questions about fertility or the continuation of symptoms associated with conditions such as endometriosis. For others, changes in periods, mood, sleep, energy levels or general wellbeing may raise questions about hormones and the possibility of perimenopause.
Every woman’s experience is different, which is why having access to reliable health information is so important.
🌷 Recognising Changes in Your Body
Perimenopause can begin earlier than many women expect, and experiences can vary considerably from one person to another. Understanding possible signs and hormonal changes can help women have more informed conversations about their health and seek professional advice when needed.
Similarly, fertility challenges and ongoing reproductive health concerns can affect both physical and emotional wellbeing.
This session provides an opportunity to learn more about these important areas of women’s health in a welcoming and supportive environment.
