Launch of Deirdre’s Story

Launch of “Deirdre’s Story”, a Donegal CYPSC Domestic Abuse Working Group video project today in Letterkenny. Speakers from Donegal Women’s Domestic Violence Service – DWDVS , Garda Síochána Donegal and CYPSC Donegal as well as our manager, Mary presented to attendees about Trauma as well as the work of Protective Services and Domestic Abuse outreach and aftercare in Donegal. Presentations were paired with a screening of “Deirdre’s Story”, a production by ESC films featuring local Garda members, actors (and some of our own staff!). The video will be used as a training tool together with trauma-informed practice in our community.
