Community Spirit in Action: Thank You to Markievicz Camogie Club

At Donegal Women’s Centre, we are incredibly grateful to Markievicz Camogie Club for their very generous donation of €603.50 in support of our work with women across Donegal.

As Donegal’s only stand-alone camogie club, Markievicz Camogie Club marked International Women’s Day 2026 by bringing women and the wider community together through a range of fantastic events and initiatives celebrating connection, support, and empowerment.

In the true spirit of women supporting women, the club kindly donated 50% of the proceeds from their event to Donegal Women’s Centre. This thoughtful contribution will help us continue providing vital services, support, and advocacy for women throughout the county.

Community support like this means so much to us. Every donation, no matter the size, helps strengthen the work we do and reminds us of the incredible generosity and solidarity that exists within our communities.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in organising, supporting, and taking part in this wonderful event. Your kindness and commitment are truly appreciated.

Together, we continue to build stronger, more supportive communities for women across Donegal. 💜
