Governance

Donegal Women’s Centre is governed by a Board of Directors, which has strategic oversight of the Centre. The Board sets our direction and priorities and ensures the organisation is effective, transparent and accountable. Board members give their time voluntarily and are not remunerated. The Centre Manager reports to the Board and is responsible for the operational running of the Centre on a day-to-day basis.

The Board meets at least 11 times during the year.  Meetings focus on the overall purpose and direction of Donegal Women’s Centre. The Board ensures the organisation is financially sound and working within its aims and objectives, and ethos of the organisation.  The Manager presents monthly service progress and financial reports to the Board.

Donegal Women’s Centre is a Company Limited by Guarantee with charitable status (CHY 9291).

Donegal Women’s Centre is registered with the Charities Regulatory Authority (Registration Number 20023249).
