HER JOURNEY. HER RECOVERY. HER FUTURE. 💜
FROM SURVIVING TO REBUILDING. 💜
Surviving is just the beginning.
For many women who have experienced domestic, sexual or gender-based violence, the journey doesn’t end when the immediate danger has passed. Recovery can take time. Rebuilding confidence, trust, resilience and independence can feel overwhelming — but no woman has to navigate that journey alone.
At Donegal Women’s Centre, we provide confidential, trauma-informed support to women experiencing or recovering from domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.
We walk alongside women as they move from surviving to rebuilding, providing a safe and supportive space to be heard, understood and empowered.
Through our services, including trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy, listening support, psychoeducational programmes and wellbeing programmes, we support women to:
✨ Heal from trauma and begin to understand its impact.
✨ Rebuild confidence and resilience, recognising their strengths and abilities.
✨ Develop practical strategies for moving forward and managing challenges.
✨ Regain independence and take steps towards a future on their own terms.
✨ Feel supported, heard and empowered throughout their journey.
YOU DESERVE A FUTURE FILLED WITH POSSIBILITY. 💜
Your past does not define your future.
You deserve support.
You deserve to feel safe.
You deserve to be heard.
You deserve to heal.
You deserve a future shaped by your choices, your strength and your hopes.
There is no single way to recover, and there is no set timeline. Every woman’s journey is her own. What matters is having the right support along the way.
Her journey. Her recovery. Her future.
Donegal Women’s Centre has been providing trauma-informed services and programmes to women across Donegal since 1989.
If you or someone you know is experiencing or recovering from domestic, sexual or gender-based violence, support is available.
You don’t have to face it alone. 💜
