Maple Group Raises €1,000 for Donegal Community Counselling Services at Donegal Women’s Centre
The Maple Group, with seven stores located across Donegal in Derrybeg, Carrigart, Castlefinn, Falcarragh, Burtonport, Moville and Ballyliffin, has proudly raised €1,000 in support of the Donegal Community Counselling Services at Donegal Women’s Centre.
The donation will provide vital support for counselling services across the county, helping individuals, families, and communities access essential mental health support during some of life’s most difficult moments. With increasing demand for counselling services across Donegal, community support and fundraising initiatives such as this play an important role in ensuring these essential services remain accessible to those who need them most.
Brian Murphy, Group Manager of Maple Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to support the Donegal Community Counselling Services through this donation. As a local business operating across Donegal communities, we recognise the importance of ensuring people have access to support services when they need them most. This contribution reflects the generosity of our customers, staff, and communities who continue to support local causes. We would especially like to thank all of our Maple customers who supported this fundraising campaign for Donegal Women’s Centre. Without their support, this donation would not have been possible.”
Mary Herlihy, Manager of Donegal Women’s Centre, said: “We are sincerely grateful to Maple Group and all of their customers for this generous donation. Demand for counselling services continues to grow across Donegal, and support like this allows us to continue providing vital services to those who need them. Counselling services provide a lifeline for many individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, and this funding will make a real difference to people throughout our county.”
Arthur McMahon, Managing Director of Maple Group said: “Community support has always been central to what Maple stands for. We believe businesses have an important role to play in supporting the communities they serve, and we are delighted to contribute towards such an important service that supports so many people throughout Donegal. We also want to sincerely thank our customers for once again getting behind another local cause and helping us give back to our communities.”
