September Is World Suicide Prevention Month
Hope Begins With One Conversation
Sometimes, change begins with something very simple:
One conversation.
One person listening.
One moment of courage.
When someone is struggling, finding the words to ask for help can feel impossible. They may feel isolated, overwhelmed, or believe that they are a burden to the people around them.
But they are not a burden.
Their feelings matter.
Their life matters.
Support is available.
If you are worried about someone, reach out. Ask how they are really doing. Listen without judgement and remind them that they do not have to face difficult times alone.
And if you are struggling yourself, please know that asking for help is not a weakness. You deserve to be heard and supported.
Sometimes, one conversation can be the first step towards hope.
The Donegal Women’s Centre is here for you.
We offer:
- Counselling
- Psychotherapy
- Domestic Abuse Support
- A listening ear
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out.
You don’t have to face life alone. Help is here.
