September Is World Suicide Prevention Month
Together We Can Help Prevent Suicide
Suicide prevention is something we can all play a part in.
Together, we can create a community where people feel safe to speak about how they are really doing—and where asking for help is met with understanding, compassion, and support.
Know the signs.
Ask the question.
Listen with compassion.
Encourage support.
If someone you know seems different, withdrawn, overwhelmed, or is struggling to cope, don’t be afraid to check in.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
Sometimes, simply being there, listening without judgement, and reminding someone that they are not alone can make a meaningful difference.
Never underestimate the impact of reaching out, checking in, and showing someone that they matter.
The Donegal Women’s Centre is here for you.
We offer:
- Counselling
- Psychotherapy
- Domestic Abuse Support
- A listening ear
If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out.
You don’t have to face life alone. Help is here.
