September Is World Suicide Prevention Month
You Never Know What Someone Is Carrying
Behind the smiles, the busy days, and the strength people show to the world, someone may be struggling in silence.
Many women spend their days caring for their families, supporting friends, managing work, and being there for everyone around them—while quietly carrying their own worries, stress, loneliness, or pain.
Sometimes, the person who seems to be coping best may be the one who needs someone to ask how they are really doing.
This September, take a moment to ask:
“Are you really okay?”
And don’t just ask—stay, listen, and be present.
You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply giving someone the space to talk without judgement can make a meaningful difference. Let them know they are heard, valued, and not alone.
If you are worried about someone, trust your instincts. Reach out, check in, and keep the conversation going.
And if you are feeling low, overwhelmed, hopeless, or are having thoughts of suicide, please reach out for support. You do not have to face what you are carrying alone.
We’re here to listen.
