STI Prevention Tips 💜
Protecting Your Sexual Health and Wellbeing
Looking after your sexual health is an important part of your overall wellbeing. Having access to accurate information, support, and healthcare services can help you make informed choices and take positive steps to protect your health.
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can affect anyone, and many infections may not show noticeable symptoms. Regular awareness, open conversations, and accessing healthcare when needed are important parts of maintaining good sexual health.
Simple Steps to Help Reduce the Risk of STIs
✔️ Use condoms correctly every time you have sex to help reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
✔️ Consider regular STI testing, especially if you have a new partner or multiple partners. Testing is an important part of taking care of your sexual health.
✔️ Have open and honest conversations with your partner(s) about sexual health, testing, and protection.
✔️ Know the signs and symptoms of STIs, while remembering that many infections may not cause any symptoms.
✔️ Seek advice from a healthcare professional if you have concerns, questions, or would like support.
