At Donegal Women’s Centre, we believe every woman deserves access to trusted, professional, and compassionate healthcare in a safe and supportive environment. Funded by HSE West & Northwest, our Women’s Health & Family Planning Clinics run every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm by appointment only, making it easier for women to access vital services outside of working hours.
Our clinic provides a wide range of confidential medical services by appointment only, delivered by experienced healthcare professionals.
Our Services are by Appointment Only and Include:
• Free Pregnancy Testing, available during clinic hours.
• Cervical Screening (Smear Tests), essential for the early detection of cervical abnormalities.
• Menopause Advice, tailored care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause .
• Contraception Services, including: The pill, Coils (IUD/IUS), Implanon & Post-coital contraception (emergency contraception).
• Infertility Advice.
• Breast Awareness, education and advice on self-checking and recognising early signs.
• Sexual Health & STI Guidance, confidential advice on protection, testing, and treatment .
• Post Abortion Support.
• Referrals to Specialist Outpatient Clinics, including Gynaecology, Ambulatory Gynaecology and Colposcopy.
The clinic is open to all women aged 17 and over in Donegal. Whether you need contraception, advice on menopause, book a cervical screening test or reassurance after a health concern, we are here to help.
