International Day of Rural Women is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience and contribution of women living and working in rural communities.
Rural women play an essential role in the lives of their families and communities. From agriculture and local businesses to community organisations, volunteering, education and caring responsibilities, their knowledge, skills and dedication help keep rural communities connected, vibrant and strong.
